After a successful 2023 edition, Garorock is (already) announcing its return to Marmande in 2024! Join us from Thursday June 27 to Sunday June 30 for concerts by a host of new artists, including Sum 41, Calvin Harris, The Offspring, Swedish House Mafia, Yungblud, Luidji, PLK, Josman, Paul Kalkbrenner, Shaka Ponk, Mass Hysteria, Rodrigo y Gabriela, Lala &ce, Molecule and Joris Delacroix. Since 1997, Garorock has captured the hearts of many a rock fan. The proof is in the pudding: every year, some 40,000 spectators turn out for the festival. In 2010, the record was even broken with over 50,000 festival-goers, compared to 41,000 in 2009. And with good reason: that year, Garorock welcomed artists such as Nouvelle Vague, Archive, Crookers, Pony Pony Run Run, Wax Tailor, Sepultura, Ghinzu and The Bloody Beertroots.
As a result of such high attendance, the festival decided to invest in a 4th stage for its 15th anniversary in 2011... In other news, the organizers have decided to relocate Garorock. The festival has moved from the Parc des Expositions to the Plaine de la Filhole in Marmande. What's more, the date has been moved back two months. Whereas it used to open the festival season on the first weekend in April, Garorock is now held at the end of June.
In 2023, the festival returned to the Plaine de la Filhole on June 29 and 30, then July 1 and 2, with a host of talented artists, including David Guetta, Macklemore, Skrillex, Lomepal, Shaka Ponk, Tash Sultana, Feder, Lujipeka, Aime Simone, Louise Attaque and Fred Again... Garorock is announcing its return this summer, and looks forward to welcoming festival-goers from Thursday June 27 to Sunday June 30, 2024 with a new, 28th edition!
What's on the bill? An eclectic mix with Canadian punk rockers Sum 41, electro artist Calvin Harris, the energy of Brit Yungblud, American band The Offspring, Swedish House Mafia and rappers Luidji, PLK and Josman.
Also announced are Paul Kalbrenner, L'Impératrice, Charlotte Cardin and Timmy Trumpet, as well as rock band Shaka Ponk, metal outfit Mass Hysteria and guitar virtuosos Rodrigo y Gabriela, not forgetting Lala &ce, Molecule and Joris Delacroix.
