In Paris, Patti Smith and her band plan to set foot at theOlympia on Monday October 20 and Tuesday October 21, 2025, for two exclusive concerts celebrating the 50th anniversary of the legendary opus"Horses". On this occasion, Patti Smith, Lenny Kaye, Jay Dee Daugherty, Tony Shanahan and the singer's son Jackson Smith, , will revisit the band's very first album, released in the autumn of 1975.

Remember: back in 2015, Patti Smith and her band celebrated the 40th anniversary of "Horses" with three exclusive shows at the Olympia. Back then, the singer and her band played the whole of"Horses" in the order of the album, starting the set with her mythical version of"Gloria".

For the record,"Horses" should have been released on October 20, the anniversary of the birth of the French poet Arthur Rimbaud, so dear to Patti Smith. Due to a shortage of vinyl following the oil crisis of 1975, the album's release was postponed until November 10. Patti Smith didn't mind, as it was the anniversary of Rimbaud's death!

So, 50 years after the release of Patti Smith's landmark album, the New York artist and her cohorts are planning to replay the timeless tracks featured on this galette in two not-to-be-missed concerts at theOlympia on October 20 and 21, 2025. So, when are tickets due to go on sale? Olympia has announced that pre-sales will open on Thursday February 13 at 10am. The general on-sale date is Friday February 14 at 10am.
