Until December 2, 2023, theGroupe acrobatique de Tanger presents its latest creation at theChapiteaux de la Villette: an opportunity to discover Moroccan acrobatics with the whole family, every day from Wednesday to Sunday.
FIQ! (Wake up!) is the name of this new show that combines floor acrobatics, dance, break, taekwondo, freestyle soccer... A blend of ancestral circus art and contemporary creation. Directed by Marroussia Diaz Verbèke, the show exudes a wild energy. Réveille-toi ! mixes genres, styles, personalities and techniques in a joyous mix of acts where fantasy reigns supreme. For the music, Marroussia Diaz Verbeke has made a choice that stands out from the crowd, with a DJ, DJ Dino, present on stage throughout the show. On stage, fifteen young Moroccans tell the story of the Morocco of today, the land where they've grown up their whole lives.
After hosting Taoub in 2007 and Halka in 2016, the big top at La Villette welcomes the Groupe acrobatique de Tanger back for its third show here. A show for the whole family, from tots to teens, for an hour of disorientation, travel and breathtaking acts.
