Having sold out their Beauty and the Beast show at the Château de Maisons-Laffitte in November and December 2024, and enjoyed great success with the first edition of the show in Saint-Denis, production company Polaris has signed up for a second season of its iconic Nuit des Reines show at the Basilica in Saint-Denis (93).
So, from April 25, 2025 and over four weekends in April and May, immerse yourself in the history of the Basilica by taking part in Nuit des Reines, an interactive event during which the Basilica is transformed. More than 300 volunteer actors, dancers and extras will bring this immersion to life for the public, who will discover the different stages in the Basilica's construction through the portraits of six women, six Queens who left their mark on this historic monument, from the year 250 to the Revolution.
Costumes, props, sets, actors: take part in this unusual adventure, and immerse yourself in history in the most interactive - and immersive - way possible! And don't miss the famous ball at the end of each performance, in honor of the Basilica's spire, now under reconstruction. It's the perfect way to discover the most famous Basilica north of Paris, known as the tomb of the Kings and Queens of France.
If you'd like to become a volunteer, registration is now open! Anyone can volunteer, from 8 to 99 years old, in a wide variety of roles. Dancers, extras, actors, backstage... There's something for everyone, and you can get involved according to your wishes and availability.
An information meeting for volunteers is scheduled for February 24, 2025 at 7pm. You must register for the information meeting on the show website.
