Lumières sur Louis XIII, an immersive sound and light show at Saint-Germain-en-Laye

The town of Saint-Germain-en-Laye has played host to many kings and queens in its history, most notably Louis XIII. In the shadow of his father Henri IV and his son Louis XIV, this monarch known as "Le Juste" remained little-known, but he was very attached to this town in the Yvelines region, which honors him with an immersive show fromMarch 15 to April 14, 2024. For around twenty minutes, you'll share the most beautiful memories of this "endearing and singular" king in sound and light, on his own land!

Through a 360° sound and light show created by Christian Salès, founder and director of CS Prod, you'll discover theking's childhood in Saint-Germain-en-Laye, between hunting and falconry with his father, gardening, but also his passion for the arts and dance. It's an opportunity to learn more about this man and the milestones of his reign, to whom we owe the restoration of the Château-Neuf and the creation of the caves and their hydraulic automatons in the gardens of Saint-Germain-en-Laye.

The show takes place in the Manège Royal, whose foundation stone was laid on July 11, 1816 by Duke Antoine VIII de Gramont, on the site of a former jeu de paume, classified as a historic monument in 1993.
