The Montmartre Festival is back in the 18th arrondissement for another edition. It's a chance to stroll through the Montmartre district and encounter all the arts!

The Montmartre Festival 2024 will take place from July 2 to 7, 2024 for its second edition. By bringing together local artists and performers, the festival aims to make art more accessible not only to local residents, but also to visitors from all over the world passing through the magnificent Montmartre district .

Created in 2023, the Festival offers a variety of events, both on the street and in concert halls, throughout the 18th arrondissement. Concerts, performances, exhibitions and workshops are all on the program. An artists' quarter, Montmartre still inspires the work of many artists, whom the festival wishes to highlight.

In terms of concerts, there's something for everyone in the streets, from jazz to rock to flamenco, as well as in the Boule Noire concert hall ( with admission charge), where you can see Astrel K, NI, Ofé, Thomas Baignères, OH NON, Blastfem, SINAESTETICA, Moyre, Vinnie Marakas, Edouardo Florio Di Grazia and Matteo Sodano. Exhibitions are freely accessible throughout the Festival. Some workshops are also open to the public, while others have to be booked in advance, and are run by professionals. You'll also be able to enjoy a variety of dance performances in the local streets.

Children are welcome at the Festival, and there's even a day dedicated to them on Wednesday June 26 at the Arènes de Montmartre and the Square de la Turlure, with free access and in conjunction with schools and leisure centers. Each day of the Festival will feature a treasure hunt, with 19th-century Montmartre characters played by actors who will guide you to the clues.

The Festival kicks off with an opening evening on Tuesday, July 2 from 5 p.m. and ends with a closing evening on Sunday, July 7 at 5 p.m.
