Looking for an elegant spot with a relaxed atmosphere near the8th arrondissement's ? In the heart of the Golden Triangle, nestled between the prestigious Avenue Montaigne and the iconic Avenue des Champs-Elysées, is a place where French chic meets the warmth of a neighborhood bistro. This place is Maison François 1er, a restaurant whose old-world charm is combined with a contemporary spirit, brought to life by a warm and dynamic team.
Here you will find the comfort of classic, familiar French cuisine ( ) rather than inventive cuisine that strays from the beaten path. It is therefore a spot more suited to those looking for a safe bet, and less so for culinary adventurers who want surprises on their plate.
The menu offers a selection of tempting treats, includingperfectly cookedeggs served with pan-fried wild mushrooms, fluffy omelets for those who prefer something lighter, and semi-cooked foie gras served with a pinch of salt and pepper to season to taste, as well as mango chutney. Presented simply and without artifice, it speaks for itself.
As for the dishes, we particularly love the chicken supreme with morel mushrooms, served with a creamy, fragrant sauce and juicy meat. If you prefer seafood, you'll find perfectly cooked dishes, such as the steamed salmon, which is cooked to perfection, leaving the flesh pink, tender, and rich in flavor, and served with a mango sauce vierge.
We advise you to trust the chef's gentle cooking technique, unless you specifically want your fish well done, in which case you should specify this. Side dishes are served separately at an additional cost, and we highly recommend the creamy mashed potatoes.

For dessert, it's hard to resist the nostalgic tarte tatin, a classic that never gets old, with its generous helping of Isigny cream for extra comfort. Those with small appetites who can't resist the call of sweetness should be warned that it's best to share.
The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner, as well as breakfast. While prices are generally in line with other establishments of this caliber in the neighborhood, the wine list is slightly less expensive. Whether for a business lunch or to enjoy a relaxed, chic atmosphere with friends, Maison François 1er is a place to remember. However, as there is no children's menu, it is less recommended for families.
