Curtain up the ordinary, spotlight on the extra: from September 25 to 28, 2025, the Butte Montmartre is transformed into a living stage with the Montmartre Festival. On the program: a free, effervescent itinerary featuring concerts, exhibitions, performances, guided tours and workshops in the streets, parks, galleries, cafés and theaters of the district, from Abbesses to Goutte d'Or.
Born in 2023 thanks to the Mouvement Montmartre founded by Luci Baudi, this event has a clear role: to bring art and culture to life by bringing together artists, residents and visitors. From the very first edition, the festival brought together local energies - 3615 Radio, Samba Et Un Mars, Bandabacchus, joined by Portes d'Or and Cinescale - to reawaken forgotten places, invent new uses and offer creativity an unprecedented terrain for expression.
Each edition features a scenography inspired by ecological themes - bioluminescence, mycelium, the seabed, forests - as living backdrops linking heritage and contemporary art. This staging, which supports young artists, promotes the arts in public spaces and encourages collective participation.
Free, inclusive and open to all, the Montmartre Festival raises the curtain on an artistic odyssey celebrating living art, nature and immersive technologies. Four days in which Montmartre, the historic district of creators, rediscovers its role as a universal stage.
