Feyma is thestory of a family from the Lamarck-Caulaincourt neighborhood, who have always lived in the area and feel right at home. So, what better place than rue Marcadet to create a little corner where they can pass on their love of Mediterranean cuisine? Where the Goutte d'Or patisserie once delighted palates, Feyrouz, Raouf and their daughter Ema have been bringing recipes from Tunisia and elsewhere to life since September 2025, like a legacy, in their canteen that doubles as a caterer and coffee shop.
Here, traditional recipes are handed down from generation to generation, with particular attention paid to fresh produce and generous home-cooked plates in the adjacent kitchen, which overlooks the dining room.
In a warm and friendly setting, designed to welcome neighbors, friends and families, you can sit in the dining room or take away, morning, noon or evening, weekdays or weekends, for breakfast, a specialty coffee (particularly local, since it comes from Lomi, a stone's throw away) or a gourmet pastry.
The dishes change daily, so that regulars can discover the diversity of this cuisine,"nourished by our origins and influences from the south", as Ema puts it. We came at lunchtime to discover the cuisine of this adorable family, with whom we can chat during quieter moments, as if they were welcoming us into their home.
Everything has been thought out to ensure that your bowl is healthy and well-balanced, with generally two proposals and side dishes.
While the chakchouka looked delicious, we opted for the beef polpettine with peas, potatoes and a few colorful vegetables, topped with a tzatzíki sauce, which we preferred to the slightly spicy one also on offer.
Our plate is hearty and comforting, with its tender dumplings and delicately spiced garnish, satisfying without heaviness. If you prefer bistronomic presentations, this is probably not the address for you. Here, it's what's on the plate that counts.
A meal accompanied by a fragrant hibiscus dew that takes you far away from the dreariness of Paris, but you can just as easily enjoy homemade Tunisian lemonade, matcha, coffee or any other hot or cold beverage you fancy that day.
As for dessert (which also changes frequently), chocolate cakes and cookies were waiting for us on the counter, but our hearts went out for some lovely Palestinian dates, plump and sweet, a delight.
You can have a bowl on its own for 14.90€ or a formula for 17€, and even a sandwich for 8€ if you prefer the latter, which is quicker if you're out and about. In the morning, you can even stop off for a sweet or savory breakfast.
In short, a colorful cuisine, both on the plate and in the smiles of those who prepare it, and a practical canteen that was missing in the neighborhood, for a little sunshine just a stone's throw from Montmartre.
