Michelin Guide 2026: The Newly Starred Restaurants in Paris and Île-de-France

As eagerly anticipated as the Messiah, the winners of the 2026 Michelin Guide have just been announced on Monday, March 16, 2026. Quickly discover which restaurants received one, two, or even three stars—especially the 12 new starred establishments in Paris and Île-de-France!

A true tradition in the world of French gastronomy, the Guide Michelin revealed its 2026 awards list on Monday, March 16th, during a ceremony held for the fifth time outside Paris, in Monaco.

This year, the Michelin Guide 2026 awarded a total of 62 new stars, across all categories, including 54 first-time awards. Last year, 78 restaurants received recognition, with 57 earning their very first star. All in all, 2026 has been another succesful year for culinary excellence!

In Paris and the Île-de-France region, this year 12 restaurants have earned their first Michelin star:

The 2026 Michelin Young Chef Award was subsequently awarded to Quentin Pellestor-Veyrier of Maison Pellestor Veyrier in Colomiers (Haute-Garonne), who also earned a star.
The 2026 Michelin Service Award has been awarded to Marco Tognon at Les Ambassadeurs, by Christophe Cussac (Monaco), and Camille Gouyer at Virtus in Paris’s 12th arrondissement, which also earns a second star.
The Michelin Sommelier Award 2026 goes to Anne Humbrech (La Table du Gourmet in Riquewihr, 68) and Edmond Gasser (La Maison Pic in Valence, 26).
The Michelin Guide also announces, for the fifth consecutive year, its Mentor Chef Award, given to an outstanding chef committed to mentorship and training. Last year, the honor was awarded to Bernard Pacaud. This year, the trophy goes to Pierre Gagnaire.
The Michelin Guide announced once again, for the seventh consecutive year, its 14 new green stars, including 2 in Paris. These accolades recognize restaurants committed to sustainable practices; as well as highlighting 10 pastry chefs, including 4 Parisians and Francilians, who join the Passion Dessert 2026 award.

Restaurants across France that have been awarded a second star include: Restaurant Frédéric Doucet (Charolles, 71), Bulle d'Osier (Langres, 52), and Arbane (Reims, 51).

Finally, regarding the ultimate honor, the Michelin Guide 2026 has awarded 3 Michelin stars to one restaurant. This prestigious accolade goes to Les Morainières run by chef Michaël Arnoult (Jongieux, 73), bringing the total number of three-star establishments in France in the renowned red guide to 32.
