Orso and the Secret of the Stars returns to Paris for the holidays. After an initial run at the Grand Rex in the fall of 2025, the family musical will be at the 13ème Art from December 20, 2025, to January 3, 2026, before embarking on a national tour. This 2025 creation addresses nighttime fears, the perception of time, and the building of self-confidence. The project is an extension of the original show Orso and the Secret of Dreamers, which ran from September 24 to November 2, 2025.
The show unfolds a nocturnal tale in which the sandman's magic sand disappears, preventing dreams from coming true. Orso, apprentice to the Master of Time, must face the night to find the sand and prevent the sun from disappearing. The staging is based on an immersive scenography with luminous sets, projections, and visual devices centered on the stars. This universe reinforces the magical nature of the live show and highlights an approach that is accessible to families.
Directed by Ludovic Marcato, who previously worked on Cirque de Paname: Le Monde de Jalèya, the narrative is organized around musical tableaux, choreographed sequences, and dialogue scenes. The troupe brings together actors, singers, and dancers. Claudia Tagbo plays the Sun, alternating with Alex Ramires. The characters of the sandman, the star fairy, and classic nocturnal figures are integrated into a rhythmic construction that emphasizes energy and humor, in the spirit of the great productions of the Parisian stage.
Music plays a central role. The songs are written by Gaëtan Roussel and Pierre-Dominique Burgaud, with the participationof Anna Chedid, Philippe Katerine, and Martin Luminet. An album accompanies the show, as well as a book illustrated by Étienne Péran. This multidisciplinary approach supports a sensory journey combining narration, music, and nocturnal imagery, reinforcing the family dimension of this end-of-year cultural outing.
Written by Sylvie Gaillard, Orso and the Secret of the Stars explores the themes of night, dreams, and symbolic emancipation. The production features a dramaturgy designed to facilitate identification by young audiences while offering multiple levels of interpretation. After its run at Le 13ème Art, the show will embark on a national tour in January 2026. The show can be seen at Le 13ème Art until January 3, 2026.
