Here, Belle becomes Mel, a quirky girl with a passion for manga, living alone with her father until he suddenly disappears without a trace. As she embarks on a quest to find him, she encounters a strange yet endearing creature living in a timeless, frozen castle. An unexpected meeting that slowly transforms their relationship, steering clear of typical fairy tale clichés.
The production playfully bends the rules of traditional staging to better subvert them, weaving in nods to pop culture and contemporary references. Led by an alternating cast including Gabriel Givernaud, Cyrine Arrar, Adrien Tuffreau, Arthur Guionnet, Clément Barberteguy, Pascal Buil, Marie Rioux, and Yanis Azaiez, the show is aimed at the whole family. Its goal? To offer a lively, punchy, and up-to-date reimagining of a beloved children's theatre classic. Ready to reserve your seats?
