For the 25th anniversary of the Harry Potter films, a slew of events is heading to the Paris region at the end of summer. After the Versailles Castle, a drone show lands on September 30 and October 1, 3, 7, 8 and 10, 2026 at the heart of the Paris-Vinciennes Hippodrome. DroneArt Show will present a 1,200-drones light choreography outdoors, set to the iconic music and scenes from the saga of the world’s most famous wizard!
As night falls, enjoy illuminated tableaux and aerial murals inspired by the films—think the Golden Snitch, Dobby, and Hogwarts—while a violinist performs before your eyes for about an hour. On site, saga-related merchandise such as wands, scarves, and collectible items will let fans of all ages snag their house colors, with themed treats on the menu to tuck into.
Audiences will also wear interactive LED wristbands to follow the performances. The event is listed to start at 8:45 PM, but doors open two hours beforehand. So it’s best to arrive early to secure the best spot and avoid the ends of the hippodrome, where sightlines are a touch less favorable than in the center.
Tickets are available in the balcony or on the floor, but note that the prices are fairly steep, around €50, so the experience is geared toward Harry Potter fans!
