From October 2 to 11, 2026, La Place marks its 10th anniversary under the Canopy of the Halles with 10 days of celebrations spanning dance, music and visual arts. A hub for expression dedicated to hip-hop in the heart of Paris, it has hosted over the years countless artists: dancers, graffiti artists, musicians, nurturing talents and giving enthusiasts a space to connect.
For this anniversary, the lineup is shaping up to be festive, between immersive exhibitions, special concert nights, clubbing, battles and dance shows, historic French rap and the new generation, Afro- and Caribbean-inspired scenes, dance, graffiti, visual arts, DJ sets and original creations!
For the exhibitions, expect to pay a minimum of €3 with a solidarity ticket, while on the music side, the 3-day pass is €50. By day, budget €20 for October 8, €15 for a single venue, and €23 for the two venues on October 9, plus €23 for October 10.
This exhibition gathers more than twenty French and international artists rooted in urban art. Spanning over 40 works—from graffiti and muralism to post-graffiti and contemporary street art—the show invites a dialogue across generations, influences, and artistic scenes that shape these aesthetics.
From October 2 to 7, an immersive installation invites audiences into the heart of five iconic concerts that define La Place’s history. Drawing on archival video, concert footage, and never-before-seen images, the concert hall becomes a projection and creation space where video, music and light mingle in a twenty-minute show that runs on a continuous loop.
Through a digital, participatory photographic installation, artists, audiences and communities will be spotlighted within an itinerary dedicated to those who animate the space. Blending archives, photography and contemporary creation, this exhibition invites visitors to cast a fresh eye on the human story of La Place and on its new chapter opening ahead.
Session 32 curates an evening dedicated to the new voices of R&B and Soul. The program features a carefully selected lineup of artists with captivating vocal tones and sounds that are shaping today’s music.
With a lineup conceived by Clear Waters Productions, a company dedicated to nurturing and highlighting the new generation of rap artists, this evening will celebrate the richness of French rap contemporary.
Loxymore, the go-to media outlet that champions Caribbean artists and a regular at La Place with its “Loxymore on Stage” nights that have showcased leading acts from Caribbean scenes, now unveils a special format: a show designed specifically as a sound system experience — a 100% Caribbean immersive DJ-set evening, led by the DJs from the Loxymore family, featuring showcases from today’s breakout artists.
La Place gives Colors Records carte blanche to represent Geneva in Paris! The label will spotlight a selection of artists drawn from its artistic circle.
Culmination of the ten days: this bespoke live performance will bring together on a single stage artists who have defined La Place’s history. An original creation that will bridge generations and influences, uniting around those who have left an unforgettable mark on La Place.
To mark 10 years of La Place, Hippoh and La Place team up for a 100% dance and culture episode, set in a relaxed, social-friendly vibe that invites chances to mingle. From 8 p.m. to 2 a.m.: bar welcome and atmosphere, on-site performances featuring guest dancers, followed by sets from EMII NOUR, ROMY WH1TE, and more.
Battles, performances, world premieres and generational exchanges: dance closes La Place’s 10th-anniversary celebrations. Between leading figures on the scene and rising new talents, the program will highlight the vitality of a discipline forever renewing itself.
