Forget Me, an adaptation of In Other Words by Matthew Seager, remains on the bill at the Théâtre La Bruyère in Paris in 2026. A four-time Molières winner in 2023, the show continues its run in the 9th arrondissement.

The play follows Jeanne and Arthur, a couple coping with Alzheimer's disease. Starting from a daily life that feels simple and bright, the story tracks how memory, the bearings of everyday life, and their romantic bond slowly transform.

When we first encountered the show, the sober staging, the music, and the lighting effectively underpinned this shift. The piece drew its strength from staying close to the couple, rather than resorting to flashy effects.

With the cast having changed since our initial review, this assessment reflects how the show appeared at that time, and not the various lineups currently announced at Théâtre La Bruyère.
