The French premiere ofAlexander Fredro's Polish play "Voeux de Jeunes Filles" will take place at the Coméide Italienne, in the heart of the 14th arrondissement. A true spotlight on awork little known in France, which promises to plunge you into the beating heart of love for four performances on December 6, 7, 12 or 19.
Written by Aleksander Fredro, nicknamed the Polish Molière, this play , never before performed in France, features two young women, Clara and Angélique, who reject the very idea of marriage. Facing them are two suitors determined to prove that love can transcend domination and social convention. " Voeux de Jeunes Filles" is a theatrical performance, a Comédia Del Arte with a Polish twist, which plays with love and its strings, between cunning, Machiavellian games and passion.
