Cécile Covès recounts her family story and her path toward egg donation at the Mathurins theatre, on October 13 and 14, 2026 at 9 p.m.

Cécile Covès returns to the Théâtre des Mathurins with La Trajectoire des gamètes. Two performances remain to be seen in the Studio: Tuesday, October 13 and Wednesday, October 14, 2026 at 9:00 PM.

Raised by two mothers, with a biological father and a stepfather in the mix, Cécile makes her family history the starting point for her story. The narrative traces the journey that, in adulthood, leads her to egg donation. Anecdotes, memories, and music sketch a meditation on family ties and the many ways to become a parent.

The text by Laura Léoni is directed by Morgan Perez, with artistic collaboration from Leïla Moguez and a sound design by Tim Nadeau. The Camélia Company presents this production, performed by Cécile Covès.

The theater has announced a running time of 1h10. Tickets go for €30 for a standard seat and €25 for a strapontin. The Théâtre des Mathurins is located at 36 Rue des Mathurins, in the 8th arrondissement of Paris. Reservations are through the official show page.
