Judith Magre and Éric Naulleau discuss Ionesco at the Theâtre de Poche-Montparnasse in Paris, on Mondays at 7 p.m. Since September 7, 2026, the duo will present a regular gathering centered on Eugène Ionesco’s work, in the form of a talk conceived and led by Éric Naulleau, with texts read by Judith Magre.
The author of The Bald Soprano, Rhinoceros, The Chairs and Exit the King sits at the heart of this portrait. The show probes both his writing and the man himself, weaving a piece where comic invention collides with the anxieties of the 20th century.
After their sessions devoted to Apollinaire and Aragon, the two artists continue their exploration of writers with this production from Théâtre de Poche-Montparnasse. The format pairs the actress's voice with the critic's commentary, centered on Ionesco's texts.
The performance runs 1h10, at 75 Boulevard du Montparnasse, in the 6th arrondissement. The theater offers a full price of 32 euros, a reduced rate of 25 euros, and 10-euro tickets for under-26s. Tickets are available for sessions through December 21, 2026. Reservations can be made from the official show page.
