FoRTE#7 exhibition: discover young talent at FRAC Île-de-France in Romainville

Contemporary art lovers are gathering at the Frac Île-de-France reserves in Romainville to discover the young talents and great artists of tomorrow. Once again, these creators, aged 18 to 30, are being showcased during the FoRTE#7 exhibition, held from November 19, 2025, to January 11, 2026. This free exhibition presents the work of the visual arts winners of the new class of the Regional Fund for Emerging Talents (FoRTE). This special grant, awarded to young French and international artists, was created on the initiative of the Île-de-France Region and co-financed by the Ministry of Culture.

Each year, this fund gives around forty artists the means to produce their first work in the region, thanks to substantial financial support, as well as professional accompaniment throughout their creation, for one year. Visual arts, cinema and audiovisual arts, performing arts, music: the range of possibilities is vast, and the works on offer are each more different than the last.

For this seventh edition of the FoRTE exhibition, 10 winners were selected by the jury from the hundreds of entries received. These young artists are honored in a free exhibition installed in the FRAC Île-de-France reserves.

The artists featured in this exhibition explore the limits of reality and its alternatives. They honor cultural traditions, question our heritage and identity, invent new futuristic utopias or express alarm at the worlds that can be created in the virtual world... These young creators take a stand against the excesses of corporations and governments, or defend nature and the environment.

Their creativity and new tools have resulted in these fascinating new works, on display this winter in the reserves of the Frac de Romainville.
