From February 3 to March 5, 2026, the Paris City Hall of the 17th arrondissement will host the "Dorothée Years" exhibition. For a month, rediscover the visual world of a television era that left a lasting impression on an entire generation, featuring original artwork by Gédébé.

Get ready to relive your childhood until March 5, 2026! This winter, the 17th arrondissement Town Hall in Paris takes us back to those carefree years of youth. Titled "The Dorothée Years", this free exhibition is curated by Lionel Gédébé, better known simply as Gédébé.

Starting his career as a comic book artist, working on iconic titles such as Métal Hurlant and Fluide Glacial, Gédébé joined the team of Dorothée Matin in 1987. Over nearly ten years, he became a key creator of her distinctive visual universe, using his pencils and brushes to craft a unique graphic style. Even after he stopped illustrating on the show's set, Gédébé continued to shape Dorothée's world—designing album covers, creating original comics for Dorothée Magazine, and even designing the stage set for the Zenith concert in 1986!

Having been carefully preserved for nearly 40 years, these original drawings by Gédébé are now on display at the 20th arrondissement Town Hall in Paris. From February 3 to March 5, 2026, visitors can take a nostalgic trip back in time, immersing themselves once again in the distinctive graphic universe of this renowned illustrator. Featuring album covers, posters, stage sets, music videos, and even works created for shows like "Récré A2," "Discopuce," "Club Dorothée," as well as the iconic scenes from the Zenith... this exhibition invites you to rediscover a series of iconic images that defined the era of Dorothée and left a lasting impression on an entire generation.

As Dorothée prepares to take the stage once again, notably at the Palais des Congrès de Paris, the exhibition "The Dorothée Years" offers a nostalgic trip back to a time filled with joy and carefree spirit.
