The Madeleine church exceptionally opens its crypt for a new and free street art exhibition. Discover "The 4 elements", a fascinating bestiary signed by the street-artist Sax, to be discovered from March 18th to 26th 2023.

Urban art continues to enchant Paris through beautiful exhibitions, notably at the Hôtel de Ville with Capitales for example. This time, it takes over an unusual place: theMadeleine Church. From March 18 to 26, the artist Sax, known for his animal works, that we loved to discover at the different Colors Festival, is waiting for us. This time, he presents his solo exhibition called "The 4 elements" in the Salle Royale, a vaulted cellar under the emblematic monument of Paris.

After the sublime installation of Benoit Dutour who had enchanted us in the heart of the sublime monument, here is the street-art that invites itself to the program.

Organized by the Galerie Roussard, this free exhibition highlights nearly 40 works of the artist, consisting of 30 original paintings and 10 watercolors of Sax, whose real name is Henry Blache. The artist explores the relationship between man and nature through street art, painting on canvas and sculpture, sharing his "emotions" with the public.

As you might expect, we'll dive into the different elements of nature. Humpback whale in the ocean, golden eagle and butterflies in the air, it's a nice journey ahead.
