On the occasion of the exhibition "Bollywood Superstars. History of Indian Cinema" exhibition, the Musée du Quai Branly - Jacques Chirac is organizing a unique Bollywood evening on Friday, November 17, 2023. With free admission, this event invites you to experience a fabulous journey to India, with screenings, performances, dances and culinary delights. Click here for the full program!

This autumn, the Musée du Quai Branly - Jacques Chirac takes us on a journey to Asia with its new exhibition. From September 26, 2023 to January 14, 2024, the famous Parisian museum unveils the installation"Bollywood Superstars. History of Indian Cinema". As its name suggests, this exhibition plunges us into the rich and fascinating Indian film industry.

As part of this installation, the Musée du Quai Branly - Jacques Chirac will be offering several events, including a Bollywood evening to be discovered free of charge on Friday November 17, 2023 from 7pm.

For this unique event, the Musée du Quai Branly is announcing a range of activities including a series of screenings, performances, dance initiations, original tours and workshops, as well as a DJ set, a giant karaoke, and culinary activities, for an incredible immersion in India and the Bollywood atmosphere.

More good news: this Bollywood evening is free (no reservations required), subject to availability. It will take place in the Claude Lévi-Strauss theater in the museum.

This is not the Quai Branly museum 's first themed evening. Last March, the museum organized a free evening focusing on Japan as part of the"Kimono" exhibition. Visitors were treated to live music and DJ sets, taiko demos and a meeting on Japan Mania!
