There's no shortage of museums in Paris, and while all of them are accessible to children (even the very youngest), it's never quite certain that the little ones will find what they're looking for and enjoy the visit. So, here's our selection of educational museums in Paris, where you can learn a lot while having fun, even with children!

Visiting museums as a family is an opportunity to raise awareness among your children, grandchildren, nephews, nieces... To culture, our heritage and our History (with a capital H). But it's even better if the exhibitions or permanent collections offer children's trails, fun or interactive features, videos, do-it-yourself experiments... So that children can play a full part in their learning and their visit.

In Paris, there are many cultural venues with permanent collections or temporary educational exhibitions: some of these are in the scientific field(Palais de la Découverte, Cité des Sciences, Science Expériences...), while others are more historical, such as la Cité de l'Histoire, and so on. It's here that children can have fun testing, touching, experimenting, observing chemical reactions or playing with devices designed especially for them, far removed from conventional museums, which are ultimately ill-suited to the youngest visitors. So, without further ado, discover our favorite educational museums in Paris, to do with the whole family on Wednesdays, weekends or vacations!
