Autumn is just around the corner, and with it an exciting artistic season at the Palais de Tokyo in Paris! A season which, through various exhibitions to be discovered from October 19, 2023 to January 7, 2024, celebrates diversity in all its facets, whether in terms of artistic forms or cultural identities. For the occasion, visitors can explore a variety of artistic expressions, from performance art to painting, film, drawing, installations and even graffiti. The focus is on exploring individual and collective identities, and how they are constructed in an ever-changing world.

One of this autumn's flagship exhibitions is the work of Lili Reynaud-Dewar, who, through interviews with other artists, paints an uninhibited societal portrait of lives that are possible and livable today. Jakob Lena Knebl and Ashley Hans Scheirl focus on the notion of the transformation and plasticity of identity. In addition, the group show Hors de la nuit des normes, hors de l'énorme ennui explores gender fluidity, while Dalila Dalléas Bouzar 's tente nomade creates links between disparate identities and narratives, highlighting what connects us to the other and to the world as a utopia to be pursued.

What's more, the Palais de Tokyo itself has undergone a significant transformation in recent months, notably in what is now known as the Zone. Inspired by permaculture, this extension offers a free space accessible to all, including tables built from recycled exhibition materials. You'll also find a new cafeteria, an"echo chamber" to react to Palais news, and the"hamo", a new space dedicated to inclusion, education and mediation through art.
