It's only rock'n roll: the free rock photo exhibition at the French Paper Gallery

Photographs by three talented photographers covering three decades of rock music: that's what awaits you at the French Paper Gallery from November 16, 2023 to January 13, 2024. The famous Parisian gallery, located in the 3rd arrondissement of the capital, is opening its doors for almost two months to the " It's only rock'n roll " exhibition.

The program? 75 photographs featuring some of the great legends of rock and metal, including James Hetfield of Metallica, Slash of Guns N'Roses, Tricky and Keith Richards of The Rolling Stones.

To capture the raw power of music, these rock stars were photographed on stage. Because, as the gallery explains,"rock photography is the art of capturing the energy, emotion and visual essence of music through the lens of the camera". Backstage photographs are also on show at the French Paper Gallery.

Behind the lens, three photographers have succeeded in capturing these precious moments, emblematic moments, electrifying performances and artists who define the world of Rock. We're talking aboutAlex Mitram, Vanessa Girth and Nidhal Marzouk, three passionate photographers familiar with overexcited concerts, sweaty concert halls and energetic shows.
