Discover the different sports of the Olympic Games with Playmobil! This fun, free exhibition can be seen from April 20 to June 24, 2024 at the Archives départementales des Yvelines.

Before the official start of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, it's a good idea to brush up on the basics, and learn about the sports on the program for this major event. It couldn't be easier: just visit the exhibition Les Jeux en Playmobil, organized at the Archives départementales des Yvelines, from April 20 to June 24, 2024.

This free exhibition showcases a wide range of sporting disciplines thanks to the little Playmobil characters. These children's toys delight young and old alike, telling a wide variety of stories. Conceived and produced by Playmobil enthusiast Jean-Philippe Broussin, this exhibition plunges us into the world of sport through playful, detail-filled dioramas.

The exhibition is divided into six main themes highlighting the different sports of the Olympic and Paralympic Games. These include water sports, ball sports, athletics, cycling, martial arts and equestrian sports.

These playful little stagings foreshadow the events that will take place in Yvelines this summer 2024. Indeed, the département is hosting many of the Games' events. Mountain biking, track and road cycling, marathon, BMX race, golf, equestrian sports: the Yvelines will be transformed into an open-air stadium!

We're looking forward to seeing our French athletes win medals, both in the real Games and in Jean-Philippe Broussin's Playmobil reproductions! Don't miss this fun exhibition, which is free to visit with family and friends.
