To commemorate the one hundred and tenth anniversary of the Armenian genocide, and as part of its commitment to historical remembrance, the Shoah Memorial is presenting an exhibition dedicated to this tragic event from April 1 to November 4, 2025.
The exhibition retraces the events that provoked, prefigured and led to the genocide of the Armenians in the 20th century: now considered a crime against humanity, genocide is still struggling to be recognized by some nations. Perpetrated between 1915 and 1916, over two-thirds of the Armenians then living on the territory of theOttoman Empire wereexterminated in inhuman conditions. Deportations, famines, death marches and massacres forced the survivors and their descendants to flee. Eighty years after the publication of the law of January 29, 2001, in which France recognized the Armenian genocide, the exhibition retraces, explains, documents and raises awareness of this genocide, in commemoration of the events.
Hanging outdoors along the Allée des Justes, the exhibition is open to all.
