In France, surrealism was alive and well at Dali Paris.
We can only agree with Monsieur Dalí's audacity: his works, striking and supernatural, seem to have escaped straight from his unbridled imagination.
Nestled in the heart of Montmartre, the iconic cradle of artistic creation, Dali Paris houses the largest private collection of Salvador Dalí’s works in France. For more than 30 years, this unique venue has shown the personal collection of Beniamino Levi, a passionate gallerist and collector who was close to the Catalan master and an editor of his works.
More than 300 pieces are on display, acquired either directly from Dalí himself or from major international collectors.
Visitors discover the highlights of an Italian collector who fell under the spell of this extraordinary artist. In an intimate setting, the museum opens up to everyone an exceptional selection of works that epitomize the Dalinian universe: drawings, watercolors, engravings, and also sculptures and design objects.
These creations bring to life the dazzling ideas of an insatiable explorer, fascinated by atomic science, antiquity, the Renaissance, alchemy and religion.
The tour continues into the Gallery, a space dedicated to a complementary perspective on the master’s body of work. There you’ll encounter, in particular, the Dalí Sculpture Collection©, a set of 29 iconic sculptures in limited editions, each numbered and accompanied by certificates of authenticity and casting details.
Today, Dalí Paris unveils a brand-new immersive staging designed as a true plunge into the world of Salvador Dalí. Organized around key themes, the route invites visitors to explore the artist's recurring symbols—time, angels, secrets, butterflies, femininity, and pop culture—through a contemporary, sensory, and poetic mise-en-scène.
Each area has been crafted as its own full experience, inviting visitors to rediscover Dalí’s art from a livelier, more intimate, and more immersive vantage point. Shifts in perspective, conversations between works, luminous atmospheres, and thoughtfully paced routes turn a museum visit into a genuine journey into Dalí’s imagination.
Faithful to the visionary spirit of Salvador Dalí, Dali Paris remains a vibrant hub of creation, transmission, and artistic experimentation, where the Catalan master’s universe continues to engage with our era.
