Finding your world: the new free exhibition at Galerie du 19M, Manufacture de mode Chanel

From September 17 to December 14, 2025, the 19M (Manufacture de Mode Chanel), located on the border of the 19th arrondissement of Paris and Aubervilliers, is staging a hand-crafted collective exhibition: Trouver son monde. The theme? Transmission, arts and crafts and contemporary creativity.

Free and open to all, thecouture exhibition unfolds in the Galerie du 19M, a modular space that upholds the values of craftsmanship. Visitors are invited to follow an immersive journey imagined as a weaving of encounters, alongside seventeen designers from the French scene and resident Maisons d'art.

Here, the creative process flourishes in the passing on of a gesture, the echo of a story, the imprint of a memory or the power of a place. The works - painted for friendship, filmed for memory, photographed by displacement, sculpted by inheritance or embroidered by tradition - become living marks of sensitive exchanges, linking intimate memory and collective narrative without ever losing the thread.

Unprecedented collaborations between exceptional craftsmen (Atelier Montex, Maison Lesage, Paloma, Lemarié, Atelier Lognon) and emerging artists give birth to unique pieces where ancestral gestures and bold visions meet to reinvent Métiers d'art. In this way, 19M proves that it is possible to preserve a living heritage while exploring new territories.

So that everyone can pull their own thread, the Galerie is offering a giant participatory embroidery workshop. At , young and old alike can try their hand at the art of stitch, needle in hand.
