What drives us to commit to the living world? How might this commitment take shape in everyday life? And above all, what reasons—intimate, professional, or societal—prompt us to take action?
Activists and public figures championing environmental protection are often seen as extraordinary heroes, endowed with remarkable determination. Yet behind these inspiring journeys lie, above all, women and men driven by deep convictions and personal experiences that have spurred them to take action.
As part of the final day of the event “Vivre Ensemble” by Yann Arthus-Bertrand at the Concorde (Paris 8th arrondissement), Planet Earth now and the Fondation GoodPlanet invite you to discover the journeys of four committed individuals who work every day to build a fairer world and a more environmentally respectful one:
These intimate narratives will shed light on the diverse paths to engagement, far from clichés. They will offer a chance to revisit the deep-seated motivations that drive these Sentinelles de la Terre, while demystifying activism.
Because standing up for life shouldn’t be the exception, but the rule. If we want to drive the ecological transformation of our societies, every one of us must become a Earth Sentinel.
100 flags from around the world will be given to the public for the occasion.
“Everyone has a duty to participate in safeguarding and improving the environment.”
