Wandering around the Montmartre district? Good idea: there are a thousand things to do! Like these not-to-be-missed exhibitions...

It's one of the favorite neighborhoods of Parisians and tourists alike. It has its own particular charm, with its emblematic monument, its intriguing alleyways, its nature, its iconic and romantic buildings... Everyone agrees: the Montmartre district is a real goldmine for walkers and the curious... That is, if you can make it up the many staircases that adorn the hilltop.

But these few steps are not enough to keep us away from Montmartre. Over the centuries, this historic district has attracted a wide range of visitors, including artists and art lovers. In the 19th and 20th centuries, painters from all over France and Europe gathered in this little corner of Paris to create, meet and experiment...

Van Gogh, Toulouse-Lautrec, Picasso, Modigliani, Pissaro, Steinlein, Gauguin and many others walked and painted these cobblestones on which you stand today... More than a century later, Montmartre remains a district of art: the proof is in the exhibitions and art events on view now. Follow the program!
