The Yves Saint Laurent Museum is hosting a free event on the occasion of the Journées Européennes des Métiers d'Art. This annual event highlights the exceptional skills and craftsmen who bring our heritage to life. Watchmakers, jewelers, milliners, tailors, coachbuilders, restorers, bootmakers... Many of them work in the shadows of museums and art workshops. But on Thursday April 3, Saturday April 5 and Sunday April 6, 2025, the famous Maison Lemarié will be unveiled alongside the museum's temporary exhibition.

For the Journées Européennes des Métiers d'Art 2025, the Musée Yves Saint Laurent Paris is showcasing the skills of artificial florists. Born in the 18th century, this delicate art blossomed throughout the 19th century, and in 1880 gave birth to the Maison Lemarié, specialized in the art of featherwork, fabric flower-making and couture. To this day, this iconic house breathes poetry and savoir-faire into the creations of the greatest haute couture and luxury houses. A tradition that never fades!

• On the occasion of JEMA 2025 and as part of the exhibition Les Fleurs d'Yves Saint Laurent, Maison Lemarié is offering demonstrations of floral parurerie, during which a worker will reveal the gestures and equipment required to make these eternal flowers bloom.
