Le 19M is Chanel's fashion factory, home to several hundred craftsmen and employees, but also an art gallery open to the curious and lovers of fashion and design. It regularly hosts exhibitions and creative workshops for young and old alike.
Each year, 19M also organizes a special weekend, with free events for all. The Mains d'avenir event is back for a third edition on February 8 and 9, 2025. This event gives us the opportunity to meet fashion and decoration artisans, and learn more about their specific skills, which give life to the clothes and accessories we admire so much.
During these two days, the curious can take part in original workshops, specialized training courses, meetings and round tables...
The Mains d'avenir event gives 19M the chance to showcase its artisans: you can learn more about millinery with Maison Michel, embroidery with Lesage, embroidery design with Atelier Montex, flowers with Lemarié, bootmaking with Massaro, goldsmithing with Goossens, jewelry with Desrues, bathing with Eres and sewing with Paloma.
If you're a fan of fashion, haute-couture or art, and want to get behind the scenes of this fascinating world, don't miss these free events at 19M.
This artistic weekend is part of the Journées des métiers d'art in Paris.
