Rendez-Vous at the Gardens 2026: a stroll through a classic French kitchen garden dominated by a historic château

Rendez-vous aux Jardins is a not-to-be-missed event for all nature lovers. An exceptional weekend, when more than 2200 parks and gardens throughout France open their doors, inviting you to discover the diversity of our beautiful region. Rendez-vous aux Jardins goes beyond simply opening up these green spaces to the public . From guided tours to concerts and discussions with professionals (botanists, gardeners, landscapers), you'll have the opportunity to appreciate the beauty of gardens from a whole new angle.

In the Val-d'Oise region of France, you'll find a unique castle in the aptly named village of La Roche-Guyon. Originally atroglodytic settlement dating back to the 4th century, it also boasts a medieval fortress built on the "Roche de Gui" (Mistletoe Rock). All that remains of the original castle is the keep, linked to the present-day castle by a secret passageway over 100 meters long.

  For Rendez-vous aux jardins, discover this unique place in a new light and share a friendly, creative moment with the Château’s team.

  During a guided visitor-harvest stroll beneath the apple trees, you’ll view the Potager-fruitier and its landscaped surroundings with fresh eyes, before taking part in a workshop on plant-based inks inspired by the garden’s colors.
