JR's Pont Neuf Cave continues to make waves in Paris. While awaiting its opening, a project devised with Paris Aéroport stretches the journey beyond the Pont Neuf, from Roissy to several of the capital’s iconic spots. Since May 31, 2026, a giant stamp tied to the installation has already left its mark at Terminal 2EK of Paris-Charles de Gaulle.
La Caverne du Pont-Neuf: JR's giant installation finally open to the public - reviews and photos
JR finally opens his Pont Neuf Cavern to the public. After several days of repairs caused by bad weather, this monumental installation turns Paris’s oldest bridge into a dark, mineral corridor, threaded with quiet sounds, fleeting scents, and augmented reality experiences. The work opens to visitors for free starting Monday, June 15, 2026 at 6:00 p.m., 24/7, until June 28. [Read more]
Starting June 16, 2026, a JR-signed passport will be offered to travelers arriving at Terminal 2E, in the baggage claim hall, on June 16, 17, 19 and 26. For Parisians and the curious who skip the airport route, don’t panic: the coveted booklet can also be picked up from the triporteurs deployed across Paris.

The rest plays out in the city, with eyes wide open and a passport ready to flash. The idea: hunt for iconic stamps bearing JR’s artworks. The tricycles crowned in La Caverne colors will roll by the Pont Neuf, from the esplanade of the Trocadéro, the Opéra Garnier, the Louvre Pyramid and the Galerie Perrotin. At each stop, an exclusive stamp will mark the passport, in the spirit of a living outdoor collecting trail. !
The pedicabs will be circulating on June 16 and 17, then on June 20, 21, 27 and 28, 2026. The exact timings can be checked here. While awaiting the moment when we finally enter the Caverne du Pont Neuf, this stamp scavenger hunt already lets you trace JR’s trail across Paris, one stamp after another.
