Be careful not to confuse the two: we're talking about the Jardin-Musée Bourdelle in Egreville, not the Musée Bourdelle in Paris. Yet both places pay tribute to the same man: sculptor Antoine Bourdelle!
The Art Deco-style Musée-Jardin Bourdelle houses 57 bronze sculptures, most of them monumental, tracing the development of the work ofAntoine Bourdelle (1861-1929). Never been there? That's about to change, thanks to Rendez-vous aux Jardins, an annual event offering a wide range of activities in the gardens of the Ile-de-France region, to help the curious rediscover these verdant places and the little creatures that inhabit them.
The concept is simple: every year, at the dawn of summer, this cultural event showcases the botanical heritage of the Paris region, in particular, through an attractive program. Each year, the event features guided tours, concerts, workshops and even exceptional openings in places that are usually closed to the public. The next event is scheduled for the weekend of June 6 to 8, 2025.
