Once again, the event Les Nuits des Forêts is returning in June. This 2026 edition, scheduled from 5 to 21 June, promises a wealth of discoveries and encounters in the forests of Île-de-France, particularly in the department of Essonne. The plan is for about ten days of festivities, the perfect occasion for adults and children alike to reconnect with nature.
The organizers framed the event as an invitation to rediscover the forest right on your doorstep. The importance of forests sits at the heart of these nights and days, and everyone is invited to meet the people who maintain and protect them. More than just a festival, it’s a call to awaken awareness and boost environmental consciousness. Don’t forget to register in advance to participate!
A walk to meet the living world – trees, forests, arts and sciences – featuring an exhibition of artworks with commentary by the artists, and meeting points for exchange with scientists offering diverse insights into trees and forests, biodiversity and climate, with soil listening and, at dusk, listening to bats. Participants will be invited to leave their message on a “Tree for the Living.”
All in all, Les Nuits des Forêts promises a unique adventure of discovery, learning and respect for nature.
