The Nuits des Forêts 2026 runs from June 5 to 21 this year. As every year, the forests of Île-de-France throw open their doors to the curious and welcome them with a carefully crafted program for adults as well as children.
Flora and fauna enthusiasts and the simply curious are expected in Seine-et-Marne for ten days of activities of all kinds: forestry walks, workshops for the little ones, demonstrations, guided tours, canoe trips, meetings, picnics, storytelling in the forest.... There's something for every family.
Take a look at the program for the Nights of the Forests in 77 to pick the animations that appeal to you most and will delight your whole little crew, but don't forget to sign up to participate!
Eco-friendly, active rally and nature quest for families. A crafty thief has stolen the forest’s treasure, a secret long guarded by the animals and trees for generations… Now it’s up to you, young explorer, to recover it! Grab your map and head out to meet the forest’s witnesses: the toad, the roe deer, and the wild boar… Each will share a clue or an adventurer’s tip to help you advance your investigation. As you progress, you’ll learn to read the tracks and signs left by wildlife, observe the landscape’s details, and unravel the mysteries of the wild. Your powers of observation and teamwork will be your best allies in finding the lost treasure! For those who wish, this rally can also be done by bike (bikes not provided).
Set off to discover the pond and its busy little inhabitants with a budding naturalist’s kit: nets, magnifying jars, identification keys, and more. Equipment provided. Please bring boots or waterproof footwear.
At sunset, when the woodpeckers and falcons finish their day, the owls, the foxes and other creatures start to stir. Join us to observe them on a twilight walk that straddles day and night. Binoculars and other optional accessories are provided.
This session invites you to hunt for signs of wildlife—tracks and other traces—and teaches you how to identify them and link them to the animal that left them.
Nighttime Rendezvous.
At the Belle-Assise site, a former sand quarry, the landscapes blend in surprising ways. A distinctive biodiversity flourishes, featuring rare species such as wild orchids, bats, and tree frogs. Between Jossigny Castle, the mill, and the old Belle-Assise quarry, this sunset stroll promises a total sense of escape.
To the beat of samba, children, teens, and giant puppets will lead you into a night full of surprises! Accompanied by the Couperin Conservatory brass band, they’ll guide you to the heart of the forest to meet a mysterious creature. As your stroll continues, you’ll discover the grand finale of the show…
As evening settles and the forest grows quiet, let the voices of woodland storytellers—truly passionate about the woods—guide you to uncover the life of the mysterious place that is Bois des Grands Taillis. You’ll learn about the trees, the forest ecosystem, its challenges, its management, and the wonders it holds. Pair this educational walk with moments of energetic reconnection with Mother Nature. Let yourself be led through this special realm by Florence Chopineaux, a Yoga expert and teacher, and Florence Berquez, an expert in martial arts and Qi Gong, a traditional Chinese energetic art. We’ll wrap up with a relaxing moment around a small rural buffet.
