The Festival des Forêts en Île-de-France, born in 2020, keeps growing. Having become Les Nuits des Forêts four years ago, it is now a nationwide program! From 5 to 21 June 2026, the festival invites us to rediscover the forests of Paris and Île-de-France, through dozens of animations and experiences of various kinds, most of them free!
Between performances, artistic installations, evening gatherings, and also daytime or nighttime strolls, this rendezvous that blends forest, culture and art has plenty to attract both the young and the endlessly curious. In the past, the event lasted three days; today, it's a dozen days of activities that promise even more exciting discoveries.
In the era of climate change, the rising collective realization that we must safeguard natural spaces so we can escape into them is more central than ever in public debate. The Nuits des Forêts align with an ecological awareness effort, inviting us to rediscover the forests around us with a fresh perspective, to reflect on their fragility, and to deepen our understanding of the major forest challenges.
