The Nuits des Forêts are back in force for a new edition from 5 to 21 June 2026 across France and especially in the Val-de-Marne. You’ll discover a wide range of activities and experiences, all free for everyone, aimed at raising awareness of the importance of forests and how to protect them.

It's time to go green. Les Nuits des Forêts invites you to rediscover the forests near you. By day as well as by night, this festival offers performances, art exhibitions, and other unusual, immersive experiences. In the 94, we head out to explore natural spaces, their fauna and flora!

Forest Nights 2026 in Val-de-Marne

Plessis-Saint-Antoine Regional Nature Park – June 13

Between roots, fallen leaves, and tiny soil-dwellers, we head out to explore a little-known, discreet world. You’ll discover how earthworms, woodlice, and fungi transform dead trees into new life. A sensory, playful stroll to observe, explore, and learn! Bring weather-appropriate clothing and a refillable water bottle. A snack is provided at the end of the walk. This activity is reserved for children, but at least one accompanying adult is required.

Piple Wood, Sucy-en-Brie – June 20

Welcome on the day of its opening to the Piple Regional Woodlands, recently acquired by the Île-de-France region and now part of the Grosbois Regional Forest. Its woods, meadows, lawns and wetlands cover 110 hectares and host a rich variety of insects and birds. Binoculars are provided.

Learn to identify the trees, tune in to birds and insects, and explore from the forest floor up to the canopy. Take a breath, let your senses guide you, and travel with a few stories and a touch of music. That’s the poetry of Piple. You’re invited to savor a beautiful summer evening! Dress appropriately, bring a snack if needed, and perhaps bring a paper bag for forest treasures.

Grosbois Regional Forest in Boissy-Saint-Léger — June 6

A discovery walk with a decidedly sensory and playful approach! We’ll learn to identify wild plants and edible trees, and discover their properties and uses. To savor what nature offers, don’t forget to bring a cup and a small spoon!
