In theEssonne department, many gardens, large and small, public and private, are taking part in this year's Rendez-vous aux Jardins, including the house of Jean Cocteau, the famous author of Antigone! Located in Milly-la-Forêt, the house immerses you in the artistic world of this great French poet, writer and filmmaker. When you visit this emblematic house, you'll have the chance to discover where Cocteau created some of his most famous works! Indeed, the rooms are imbued with his creative spirit, with walls adorned with paintings, unusual furniture and inspiring objets d'art. If you've never visited the house, the Rendez-vous aux Jardins is certainly the perfect opportunity to discover this singular home!
During a tour of the garden, visitors will select an original or unexpected perspective and photograph it through a frame loaned by the House in a bid to win a prize.
