Located in the 15th arrondissement of Paris, the Musée Bourdelle is housed in the apartments, studios and gardens where sculptor Antoine Bourdelle lived and worked from 1885. At the end of his life, Antoine Bourdelle, like Rodin, planned to create his own museum in Paris. His wish was granted in 1949, with the creation of the Musée Bourdelle.
The gardens feature many of the sculptor's bronze works, including Le Fruit, Héraklès archer, the bas-reliefs for the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, and Adam and Penelope. This timeless setting, far from the hustle and bustle of the capital, is sure to delight those in search of greenery.

Dance performance “PURE” in the gardens
--------------------------------------------
### By the choreographer and dancer Eva Klimackova and the dancer Leandro Villavicencio
Saturday, June 6 and Sunday, June 7 at 3:00 PM and 4:30 PM
Each performance duration: 25 minutes
Free admission, subject to availability
Through the duo’s dynamic, “PURE” explores the plasticity of two bodies carrying within each gesture the trace of a journey from another culture—or several cultures—and invents spaces to enable contact; a fluid, organic relation between bodies and materials. “PURE” unfolds time through a sensory, tactile search where bodies take turns, loosen, interweave, and balance infinitely with a highly distinctive gestural musicality. By revealing a plasticity of forms, lines, curves, folds, and textures without hierarchy, “PURE” is memory-laden and peppered with imprints.
Choreography: Eva Klimackova
Dancers: Eva Klimackova, Leandro Villavicencio
Music: Un escargot vide, Jonathan Lefèvre-Reich
