Specializing in medicine through the ages, Scalpel and Matula brings history to life by recreating medical practices, surgery, and pharmacy through interactive costume demonstrations from the periods.

Building on our garden as a backdrop, our experts will guide you through the various uses of plants during the Renaissance—whether for healing, enhancing appearance, or simply maintaining good health.

You'll also have the chance to create your own small ointment or a herbal sachet to take home with you.
