In Île-de-France, you can also find and even pick your own tulips as they emerge from the ground, alongside other flowers, fruits, and vegetables, making for a nature outing that supports local short supply chains!

To enjoy this experience, simply visit one of the various French farms that offer this activity! These farms produce fresh fruits, vegetables, flowers, and herbs year-round. When you arrive, prices per kilo or per bunch are displayed, and it’s up to you to pick what you want. On site, gardeners are available to assist you in harvesting without damaging the plants, after which your produce is weighed to determine the cost.
