Craving a nature-filled outing in the 77? Head to the Cueillettes du Plessis, in Lumigny and Chanteloup-en-Brie, to stock your basket with seasonal fruits, vegetables and flowers, in self-serve, as close to the fields as possible. A family-run spot that has been nurturing a love for simple things for generations!
The Cueillettes du Plessis bring together two sites in Seine-et-Marne (77): the Lumigny Picking and the Chanteloup Picking, located just a few kilometres from Disneyland Paris. People come with their basket, their kids, their boots, and the desire to put together a basket that really follows the season.
The story begins in Lumigny in 1978, with a first hectare of strawberries launched by the Cozon family. Since then, the adventure has grown without losing its farmstead spirit. In Lumigny, the pick-your-own harvest happens in a pastoral setting in the heart of Brie, with flowers, fruit and vegetables to harvest from April to November, while the market remains open year-round with terroir products, including Brie cheeses, farmyard poultry and local specialties.
In Chanteloup-en-Brie, the pick-your-own experience unfolds as a life‑size garden where you’ll find the main vegetables, plus strawberries, red berries and apples depending on the season. The site also features a market stocked with regional specialties, including charcuterie, poultry, Brie cheeses and artisanal products.
A wonderful family-friendly discovery to enjoy together!
