Breezy skies over Paris. On Avenue du Président Wilson, the former Forest is back on course for the sunny days with the return of Corail, its restaurant-terrasse, for a second sunlit season. Same iconic address, same postcard-perfect view, but a 2026 vibe that’s more arty, more couture, more coastal. A seasonal table that brings a breath of the Mediterranean to the museums, without leaving the 16e arrondissement.

Facing the Palais Galliera, tucked between the Musée d’Art Moderne de Paris and the Palais de Tokyo, Corail resumes its role as a summer pit stop. The terrace is envisioned for a sun-kissed lunch, an outdoor dinner, a big communal table, or a long, lingering evening, with the Eiffel Tower on the horizon and the museum’s monumental architecture as a backdrop. Just a few steps from the Seine, the address conjures up a very Parisian vacation mood, between urban panorama and a craving for the seaside.
This season, the setting sheds its old skin under the direction of interior designer Joanna Pera. Orange banquettes, refined piping, oversized parasols and greenery warm the mineral terrace, creating a dialogue between the brutalist architecture of the Musée d’Art Moderne and a more graphic, Mediterranean aesthetic. Inspired by Henri Matisse’s cut‑out papers, the space adopts bold, sun-soaked colors—like a seaside interlude tucked inside the museums.
On the plate, Corail stays true to seasonal cooking, anchored by seafood, hearty salads, and bright, fresh dressings. On the menu, the tarama house-made, yellowtail sashimi with lemongrass and chilies, the spinach-yuzu-parmesan salad, and the green beans, ricotta, and pistachio extend this light, sunlit line.
For seafood cravings, head for lobster linguine, sea bass with virgin sauce, or octopus in a bold jus. On land, the XL knife-cut beef tartare rounds out the menu and satisfies the more generous tastes of lively summer gatherings. When the golden hour arrives, the cocktail bar takes over: signature drinks, well-shaken classics, string lights and electro-chill sets accompany the late-day moments with coral-hued reflections.
A seasonal hotspot that blends modern art, a seaside vibe, and a sweeping Parisian panorama.
