Following the success of the 2025 edition, Han Rooftop-Guimet returns to the rooftop terrace of the Guimet National Museum of Asian Arts, in the 16th arrondissement of Paris. From May 15 to September 12, 2026, this ephemeral rooftop kicks off a new season devoted to Korean culture, featuring K-Food, DJ sets and a breathtaking view of the Eiffel Tower.
This three-level vegetated terrace, conceived as the deck of a cruise ship suspended above the roofs of the Iéna district, keeps its distinctive charm. What changes in 2026 is the cultural direction: the Guimet Museum is dedicating this year to the Korea, and the rooftop is fully aligned with this momentum. Artists, references and culinary offerings come together to celebrate the vitality of the contemporary Korean scene, without neglecting the diversity of Asian cultures that forms the DNA of the venue.
On the plate side, we’re pleased to welcome chef Young-Kyung Lee, founder of Misso and in charge of the restaurant Hanok nestled in the museum. Her cooking, rooted in the classic pillars of Korean gastronomy, fits the rooftop’s two rhythms: a steadier menu for lunch and a lively street food vibe by night. Expect bibimbap, bulgogi, and other specialties that had already won over regulars last year.
The musical lineup is curated by Charles Chu (Revival Agency), delivering a demanding artistic vision that blends established DJs with curated playlists. Among the announced artists: Shakti, To Van Kao, Maï-Linh, Tin, Vega Voga, ZNA, Ychan, Danisa, with the collective Piu Piu taking over the rooftop. A program that could turn Friday and Saturday nights into festive affairs well above the Paris rooftops.
By day, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. (except Tuesday), the vibe stays bright and relaxed across the three terrace levels. At sunset, on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays (seasonally), the rooftop shifts into a livelier, music-filled atmosphere until midnight.
The season will be punctuated by several unmissable evenings: the official opening on May 15, Museums Night on May 23, Nuit Blanche on June 6, and the closing party on September 12. These special events require a separate ticket, while general access remains free the rest of the time.
To get there, head to 6 place d'Iéna, Paris 16th, accessible by the metro line 9, Iéna station, just steps from the Trocadéro. Access to the rooftop is free during the day, and the entry ticket to the Guimet Museum lets you enjoy it while you check out the current exhibitions. While you’re at it, take a look at the permanent collections before heading up to enjoy a drink with a view of the Iron Lady.
This event caters to both the curious about Korean culture and fans of terraces with a view, to Friday-night revelers, and to families seeking a lunch break that’s a little out of the ordinary. A great spot to drop into your summer 2026 calendar.
