Looking for a chill-out spot on the banks of the Seine this summer? Head to the Quais de Seine and the Port de Bercy to discover from May 1 to the end of August 2026 a fleeting interlude. Located on the CEMEX site, Quai Sauvage has in recent years reimagined an industrial space into a small green enclave of 1,500 m2, open Thursday to Sunday, with a varied and festive program.
You can thus enjoy the sun by the water thanks to outdoor activities. This pilot effort, carried out in August 2023, has become a fixture and raises the question of climate warming in the city, as well as the need to find cool spots wherever possible, including on industrial sites along the Seine.
In the shade, Parisian locals or visitors can enjoy a bar-restaurant space with a house menu signed by Saao Kitchen, a zone of activities, a section reserved for fitness classes and yoga, and a sandy area for playing pétanque!
On the agenda: themed days, cocktails, acoustic concerts, and plenty of events to meet people and stay active in a relaxed vibe—live music and DJ sets on Fridays and Saturdays, yoga classes, workshops for kids and adults, sports competitions, plant markets or clothing sales, to be followed on the venue’s Instagram account.
And for those who get far too hot this summer, the Bercy swimming pool is right around the corner!
