Le Jardin du Clarence, the intimate and gourmet terrace in the heart of Paris' Golden Triangle

Away from the Parisian hubbub, Le Clarence’s intimate terrace opens for the 2026 summer season, running from June 2 to early August. Nestled in the cobbled courtyard below the two-Michelin-starred restaurant, it offers a discreet escape in the heart of the city, where simple, fresh cuisine is paired with exceptional wines.

In the Golden Triangle of Paris, a secret slips behind the façade of a townhouse: Le Jardin du Clarence, the summer terrace and intimate 2026 of the two-star restaurant Le Clarence. From June 2 to early August, the cobbled courtyard tucked behind the gourmet dining room transforms into a vegetal and mineral jewel, a world away from the city’s clamor. Here, guests settle in the shade of leaves and flowers, lulled by the murmur of a fountain, in an atmosphere that feels almost suspended.

Tuesday to Saturday, 3:00 PM to 7:30 PM, the experience is earned: strictly by reservation, presented through three intimate courses capped at 16 covers. Chef Andrea Capasso offers an elegant and convivial proposition: seasonal savory and sweet bites to share, available à la carte or through three tasting options served in sequence, crafted in the spirit of a reimagined tea-time. Guests can explore Mediterranean creations such as tomato gazpacho with red tuna, raw oysters, courgette flower tempura, olive oil focaccia with Sicilian poutargue, Bigorre black market ham, and arancini filled with mozzarella di bufala.

On the sweet side, indulge in decadence with a cocoa-spiked waffle, an ice-cream cup, a pavlova topped with dark berries and miso, or a raspberry jasmine cake. The experience is paired with vins from Domaine Clarence Dillon, served by the glass or by the bottle, alongside a menu of champagnes and French cuvées that evolves every fortnight, with access to the prestigious Clarence cellar. Non-alcoholic alternatives round out the offering — teas, coffees and infusions.

A bubble of serenity crafted for lovers of good taste and silence.
