Heading for the Place de la Concorde, at the foot of the legendary Hôtel de Crillon, to discover the frosted plan that should grab pastry lovers' attention! From June 3 to August 16, 2026, the Cabane du palace parisien makes its grand return. At the helm of this frosty-chic breather? Matthieu Carlin, the hotel’s pastry chef who focuses on offering creations that are less sweet, highlight natural flavors, and, here and there, slip in a nostalgic, comforting touch.
After a few editions centered on the frozen cookie, the chef this time reworks his signature creations in a frosted guise. On the menu, peaches that delight sweet-tooths appear alongside lemon tart with meringue, Paris-Brest, and raspberry pavlova, all landing at this gourmet shack. They’re joined by one of the frosted-cookie’s emblematic recipes, the chocolate-cookie—the sole previous-year creation retained on this menu. They can be paired with a selection of iced teas!
Best enjoyed in the Butterfly Pâtisserie tea room or to go from the kiosk set up in front of the hotel, so you can savor them as you stroll along Place de la Concorde, through the avenues of the Jardin des Tuileries ... or just before a visit to the nearby Hôtel de la Marine. And if you’re into frozen confections, you’ll want to discover the creations at la Glacerie or the ice-cream donuts from Isaka.
